TO BLOG OR NOT TO BLOG?

What does the term "blogging" mean? How could this blogging site be helpful in our journey through social studies topics this year? What are some possible positive and negative consequences from blogging? Have you blogged before? What questions do you still have about blogging?

  1. Blogging is like and online diary where people share how they feel about different subjects. Blogging can helpful becuase we can talk about the social studies topics that we don't have time for in class. A postive for blogging is being able to understand the differnt ideas that people have. The negative would be saying somthing wrong that would get you into trouble.
I haven't blogged before. I have no question now but I might have some later. Jacob F.

  7. I think "blogging" means writing something about different things like opinions, life, hobbies, trips, and for their own enjoyment.

Yes, I have blogged in 4th grade in Social Studies class for a project using our new mini laptops.

A positive is you can write what you want and it is your blog. A negative is that someone could say something mean or inappropriate (I know it goes to you, I'm just saying in real life blogging).

  19. i think blooging is a way of sharing your feelings with other people. i think its cool that people can pretty much text message on the computer. i asked my neighbors and they both have different thoughts. Cindy thinks it is a neat way for us to share our thoughts about whats going on in school, but Ev thinks it is a bad idea because he doesn't like people using the computer all the time. i hope it is fun!
