I borrowed a Harry Potter book from the library a few weeks ago. It was due back yesterday, but I can't remember where I put it. I've searched everywhere . I'm afraid to go near the library in case the librarian remembers that I still have the book checked out. What should I do?

I would talk to the librarian and see how much the book costs. I would pay for the book so I could still check out books in the future.
ReplyDeleteI would tell the librarian that I lost the book, and I would ask him/her if they can give me an extra week to look for it, or I will pay for it.

I would ask if it would be okay if you could pay for the book but keep looking for it. So then you can check out other books and she/he won't get mad and its like nothing ever happened.
