I think the most important contribution that Martin Luther King Jr. made to our country was to inspire people to stand up for themselves and what they believed in.
He made sure that all people would have freedom! No matter the color of their skin. I think that is very important because if we did not have freedom then we could not treat people like how we do today! I think Martin L. King Jr. helped a whole lot to have blacks treated equally. He really believed he could do something, and he did, and he never gave up. His speech helped a lot of people realize that everyone should have equal rights.

He really believed he could improve this world and he succeeded in my opinion. His speech made people realize that everyone is equal no matter what race or gender you are.

It is so exciting to have a space to discuss social studies topics, while utilizing fun and explorative technology. We have been working towards this for many months, trying out different types of classroom technology and practicing written blogging with paper and pencils!
